My first loveLOCATION: My Room , DerryYEAR: 2002TAGS: hope, coldplay, redemption, awesomeness, love, in my place, sadnessPUBLISHED: July 1, 2008i love this song for many a reason. you see i liked this girl her name was jill. and she was my first true love. the problem came when i pretty much got my heart broken by her. at this time i sank into a deep depression but i didn't want to stay like that. this was because i knew i was better than that. so without her and any other help. i sat in my room and all the sudden this song came on. now at first i said "what the heck is this?" i liked the sound ALOT.. but.. then came the lyrics "in my place, in place. were lines that i could'nt change i was lost oh yeah..." and also "yeahh, how long must you waitfor it, yeah how long must you pay for it." it rang true in my mind from then on i took it and ran. i didn't blame myself after that. she was the liar not me. and this song has and will forever inspire me to live life and not be sad for other girls mistakes. i mean i'm a good man she lost out.
