SuzieQ said: You need 45,000 - 50,000 an hour to even remotely catch up to me by the deadline. Stop slacking off, man. You can do it! (9/28/2008)
SuzieQ said: dude, no unfortunately you're wrong. you didn't lose any points. i figured out what was going on and just gave up. jamsbio subtracted probably over 300,000 points in the course of our competition. They subtract points from heavy users in hopes of promoting more site activity, because they know that the heavy user wants to maintain his previous position, and they know if they dominating force's points go down, it'll revitalize competition, which in turn will attract even more site activity. its all about site activity which helps the ads, dude. nothing more. im not complaining, thats just the way it is. If that's the case then why didn't they subtract any points from me? I'm one of the heaviest users on the site.
Actually, right now my "TODAYS LEADER" points ARE subtracting because those points were all made yesterday. My points are going away exactly as quickly as I made them. To see what I mean look at my current score and wait 30 seconds and hit "refresh." The points disappear in 330 point increments, same as I scored them. But this is OK because I made them during yesterdays game. They will all be gone by tomorrow.
I realize it's complicated, and they should make the scoring system more clear, but I assure you there's no conspiracy, or I would definitely be one of the targets.

If my points continue to go down tomorrow i guess we'll know who's right. as of now 4:23 mountain range time, i have 339,330 points (9/29/2008)
SuzieQ said: up they just went down. dude there is no way i'm wrong, unfortunately it looks like i'll be losing sleep again tonight fighting off newly joined players. i wouldnt go so far to call it a "conspiracy." it' just business (9/29/2008)
SuzieQ said: and the reason that your points were not subtracted is because you were the underdog. It wasn't enough to subtract points from me, they had to make sure you had a "fair and balanced"(see fox news) chance of catching up. in theory... (9/29/2008)

This would be a horribly business decision on JamsBio if it were true. Nobody would keep coming back if the contests were really rigged. Plus it would be illegal. (9/29/2008)
SuzieQ said: No, not necessarily. I read the rules, "JamsBion will not recognize any disputes to points calculated and displayed for each player" I believe it also said they reserve the right to withdraw the prize for any reason. So, really each time a winner is rewarded its out of the site's graciousness and not some silly rules. (9/29/2008)

Well, think what you wish. My main reason isn't to just prove that I'm right, it's so that you will be know how to win today's round. And it looks like the competition is going to allow it. Just remember that your real score is not as it appears.
