Listening to U2LOCATION: Walking to work , Buffalo,NYYEAR: 2001TAGS: Bono, Larry, Beautiful Day, 911, Towers, U2PUBLISHED: April 9, 2008It was the day 911 happened. I was on my way to work, I decided to walk there...so on my way there I was listening to U2's CD, All That You Can't Leave Behind. I had no idea yet that the Towers had been hit! I was listening to "Beautiful Day" (I was thinking what a beautiful day it is!) So when I got to work the Radio, TV were on and they told me what had happened...I couldn't believe it! At the exact moment the 1st plane hit, I was listening to that song! It turned out not to be a beautiful day after all! But the reason I'am writing this down is because, some time later they showed a U2 Elevation concert on TV, Live in Boston. It showed Bono, Larry in a car talking about 911 and Larry mentioned that it had been a beautiful day before it happened! And that is weird because I'd thought the very same thing!
