A Lesson to Men for Making Love LastLOCATION: my livingroom , Warrensville Heights, OhioYEAR: 2007TAGS: burning, eternally, fires, lessons, love, keepingPUBLISHED: May 14, 2008I was writing an article about the practical side of love in this 21st century scenario I put together for a freelance assignment writing company I am involved in. I came up so short because I found little advice available to dispense on the 'practicality' of an emotion way overused and generally abused ! It was 2am, my time when I write best, and everyone else was asleep--i.e. cats, parents, neighborhood, the world for all I knew . . . But the music channels were alive and awake on the television I flicked on super softly. It was then that angel voice rendered by one of the finest chicks in the music biz today, miss Alicia Keys. We don't demand too much its the men that only give so very little and when that happens it is difficult to determine what practical use falling in love provides. It doesn't but what it does have is a meaning, especially discovered in my article after I finished listening to the song. I encourage any man, young or old, ready to be himself and not some macho-poop, understand that tomorrow is never promised and therefore wasting time with insecurities, lies, cheats, temporary waves of affection, inconsistencies, and ulterior motives is not the way to a woman's heart . . . or soul for that matter. We want honesty as much as you want honesty and most importantly we want to be desired like there is no other woman in the world for you whenever possible. It is not a difficult demand to bring to fruition unless the man shares his heart or bed with more than one woman in more than one place. A player does not get this song for he cannot succomb to the challenge of loving one woman completely, and my what a challenge that can be.For some, I must admit this song makes them think hard about present true love and obligation because of past love gone wrong, and I am so grateful Alicia sheds her feelings for the world of men to understand about loving one woman, completely and acting being as if tomorrow you might never see or touch her again. So I encourage to make it good by making it be like the last time you'll ever see each other, hold each other, desire each other for tomorrow is not promised and loving like you'll never see me again is powerful stuff. A lesson for men who want to make love last is right there in note upon wonderful note !

Hurricane1376 said: What a load of nonsense. Women can be just as hypocritical and just as deceitful as any man.
There are plenty of women who are cheating on perfectly honest and faithful men out there.
I hate all this "poor us" that women spout about how they can't find a good man.
The truth is most women are motivated by the same banal and physical and material motivations as men are. If you don't think that's true then look at current fashion styles and look at what is the focus in the media today.
Celebrity sex; glorification and worship of luxury and materialism; and completely unrealistic and psychologically damaging standards in beauty.
It's a rare women who will be truly honest with herself and be truly honest with a mate.
Honesty in general a hard commodity to come by now adays; look at the horrendously high divorce rates to see where commitment and honesty stands with most people. (5/21/2008)
