Six Flags Trip

 I know every last line in this song, if only because it played on repeat one time when I went to Six Flags theme park with my best friend and her fiance. That day, I walked so much I had blisters for weeks afterward, and not to mention I forgot my sunblock so I was beet red the next day. Worse than the blisters and the sunburn was that "Build Me Up, Buttercup" was playing in my head for months on end.

 Another thing I associate with this song is the show American Idol, because in the second season, Clay Aiken did his own version of it, and until then I didn't like Mr. Aiken one bit, but that song changed my mind and made me start voting for him. That season of the show was the one that also made me want to audition myself, which I was supposed to do last year, but I didn't have the gas money. Hopefully the same situation won't come up this year because, once agian, I plan to try out and I think this is the last year they'll do it. Wish me luck!
