In my room.

When you're a kid, and you've suddenly got four bedrooms and a bathroom to yourself (A whole floor of the house) You use all the space you can at first. You sleep in every room, you make as much noise as you can, you spend your free time the way you want to spend it. But then something happens. Like having Christmas every day, it gets old after a while.

So one very boring day, I took my "karaoke machine" (which is basically just a tape player with a microphone) and a blank tape into my main bedroom, and I sat down on the floor and recorded myself singing a few songs. I haven't heard this tape for more than a year, so it's hard to remember the exact songs, but I know Everywhere by Michelle Branch was on it, and U Remind Me by Usher. I think maybe Candy by Mandy Moore was on there, which makes sense because it was one of the very few songs that I knew all of the words to back then.

But I have to wonder... is that tape, should I ever find it, going to be worth something someday?
