But that's how it goesLOCATION: Many Places , Elgin, IllinoisYEAR: 1990TAGS: ozzy, crazy train, radioPUBLISHED: March 2, 2008One of the classic Ozzy songs...I love this song so much. Whenever it comes on, I have to crank it. I don't care where I am, the volume hits some high decibels. My favorite memory with this song is driving around with Andie, Steve and Brian...my two best friends and my boyfriend in high school. I had a silver 1981 Pontiac Grand Le Mans, 4 door, bench seat, piece of crap....but it ran! I loved that car. It was my first one, and I had a blast with it. Road trips every weekend, hanging out with my friends, getting hopelessly lost in the country...can't beat it! Crazy Train was on a mix tape we always kept in the car. Whenever we were in the car, we played that tape first and cranked it when Crazy Train came on. It's just one of those loud tunes you just can't help but turn up. I think my favorite memory with this song is when Andie and I skipped school to go meet our local Chicago DJ at the Burger King across town. We were pulling into the parking lot and could see the radio station Bronco, and we had the song blasted as usual. This was at about 7 in the morning, mind you. I pulled into the spot closest to the stations Bronco, and we jumped out, leaving the radio blasting. The DJ looks over at us, and we are dancing around outside the car like the goofballs we were, and he runs over and starts jamming with us. It was an awesome day, let me tell ya. We hung out with the DJ and his crew until they left, and he let us sit in his little area with him. Of course, all the girls had a thing for him because he was dead sexy, so our other friends who showed up late were annoyed, but we didn't care. It was the first time I had ever ditched school, and I was feeling rebellious. That song will forever remind me of Andie and my old silver Le Mans. Â
