The name of that song is Adore?LOCATION: Home , Hyattsville, MarylandYEAR: 1995TAGS: childhoodPUBLISHED: February 16, 2008All my life I was always surrounded by Prince fans. My mom and my aunts were his biggest fans. My mom would always say "I knew you would like Prince because when I was pregnant with you I went to see Purple Rain and you kicked throughout the whole movie." While that philosophy is good, I've always been drawn to Prince. The first song I really liked when I was little and would sing all the time was "Adore", which back then I thought was called Until the End of Time. It wasn't until I heard it on the radio when I was 11 and the DJ said "that was Prince with Adore." I didn't even know it was a prince song and I thought the DJ had made a mistake. I asked my aunt what the real name of the song was and she said "yeah it's Adore". When I was older, I realized I could relate to the lyrics and I grew to appreciate Prince's lyrical abilites.
