It's saying that she creates her own word of purple skys and candy clouds to get away from the monsters and pain of realality. Anyone who knows me knows that i daydream A LOT! I am barly ever on earth and i always space out. I would make up my own dream world to sometimes get away from the bad things that are really happening. Or i make up that i have something special about me and that everyone is happy. When i heard this song i knew it spoke to me. The words where perfect for me. "Let me stay,Where the wind will whisper to me,Where the raindrops as they're falling tell a story...Oh how I long for the deep sleep dreaming,The goddess of imaginary light" It's just perfect for me and one of the first songs i heard by Evanescence that got me in to them. I still love.
