Ski Trip SoireeLOCATION: Party Condo , Bretton Woods, NHYEAR: 2005TAGS: The Smiths, dance, party, trip, What Difference Does it Make?PUBLISHED: July 25, 2008At our annual "company ski trip" (not an official company event, just the party folks chipping in...) we always rent 4 or 5 condos for a long weekend and designate one as The Party Condo. To be in that unit is considered an honor and the music must not disappoint. No skiing is required, but after a day in the wilderness, the Saturday night we do a pot luck event (pun intended). One of our crew is a part time DJ, and at my request he cranked "What Difference Does it Make?" - The rather sedated crew seemed to all sit up and take notice of the beat, and one of our fearless leaders broke into a spinning jam dance to a great ovation. It was one of the funniest things I have ever seen, and to this day, in the office, when we cross paths I think of Mikey spinning to the Smiths. It will never be duplicated!
