My introduction. ..

It was Halloween and Mom took my older brother and myself to our Aunts to go trick-or-treat. Aunt Pat has 3 kids, Juinor & Steve were older and Melinda was my age. We were barely old enough to start remembering things clearly.

I remember Mom getting me ready and the boys had gathered in Juinor's room. Time was among us to hit the streets, when all the sudden we hear what sounds like a car crash. I walk towards the front door passing the hallway that lead to Juinor's bedroom. Just as I get to the hall the music starts and out jumps three boys dressed in all black with black and white face paint. My Mom, Aunt and Melinda screamed.I loved it, the music, the paint and the fact that I should have been scared. My life has never been quite the same.

That day I was introduced to some of my favorite all time things. Halloween, Music and Gene Simmons. I think "The Demon" was my favorite just because he was the scariest, but now I know it's much more.

Stephen said: Gene is my favorite too...the tongue, the blood, the dragon boots, the attitude...how could he not enthrall a 9 year old? (4/6/2008)
