Stop ItLOCATION: Fletcher High School , Atlantic BeachYEAR: 2005TAGS: fightingPUBLISHED: March 12, 2008I hate violence. I've been in fights before, and each time I walked away hating myself. I've never understood why fighting is a form of entertainment for teenagers. See, if it was in a tournament, that's understandable, but when it's at school, when two people are that pissed at each other, why do people gather around to watch? I was at school one day when a couple of friends of mine got into a huge fight and dragged me into the middle of it. I tried getting between them, pushing them away from each other, but I just ended up getting the crap kicked out of me, until it was me who got suspended for a week. For trying to help my friends out of a bind, I ended up worse than they did. How's that for fair?

Kopaz said: Personally, I like fighting, it's a way to unwind, but I only like a certain type of fighting. Sparring. No one dies, and it's just unwinding.
However, I HATE it... I LOATHE IT when people gather 'round and try to... well, cheer on manslaughter, which is what fights at school become, seriously.
I respect your decision on your helping your friend, though. (3/18/2008)
