Maybe It's Just MeLOCATION: My House , Atlantic BeachYEAR: 2006TAGS: music videos, taking back sundayPUBLISHED: April 21, 2008I'm not one to watch music videos. In my mind, while songs written by the artist clearly have some sort of message, it is up to the individual to interpret this message. Music videos, I believe, forces the message into your mind. My sister, in contrast, absolutely loves music videos, and can constantly be found watching Fuse, MTV, or VH1 for these videos. So even though I prefer to avoid them, I know about a lot of music videos. Now, to be completely hypocritical for a moment, there is one music video that I actually am fond of. One. And that would be Taking Back Sunday's "Liar (It Takes One To Know One)." Not that Taking Back Sunday is my favorite band, it's actually one of the few that I'm not as fond of. Notice how I stress that. I'm a fan of all music. I remember when I first saw this. I was in my room, writing as usual, when my sister bursts in, screaming about how I absolutely had to watch this. For a second, I was skeptical, because the last time she had done this was when she had a theory that Barney was "slightly shorter in this episode". But I saw the very end of this. And looked it up online. And thought it was quite the awesomeness.
