To explain what I love about this song would be quite difficult, especially since I'm not very good at the 'expressing my likes and dislikes' thing. All I know is that there is not a more powerful song released by this band (which happens to be my favorite). Good Day is just striking, not only lyrically but especially musically. Amanda Palmer's piano work is just so inspiring, I just needed to start my blog off with it.

I play the violin. Soon I'll start the cello, but the first instrument I ever learned to play was the violin. My high school talent shows are 80% singing, 15% dancing, and 5% musical instruments. The previous years I had played the expected classical fare from my Suzuki books, but I was just bored of that. So, I took the piano music from Good Day, transfered it to my violin, and played.

I might not have won, but I never felt more...powerful.

So, you don't want to hear about my good day?
