The Raveonettes

Fueled by a fascination with America's vintage cultural landscape and a musical obsession with the Jesus & Mary Chain, Dutch duo the Raveonettes have been making an ultra-cool, minimalist version of garage-rock since the early 2000s. Though they often preordain very specific parameters for the music they make (in terms of length, key, and structure), the Raveonettes have still managed to forge collaborations with such esteemed rock and pop figures as Moe Tucker of the Velvet Underground, Martin Rev of Suicide, and Ronnie Spector.
