About this Artist

Soft Machine

Soft Machine started out as a quirky psychedelic pop band, but their jazz influence came quickly to the fore. Throughout the '70s they purveyed their unique brand of jazz-rock tinged with progressive/experimental touches. They were at the core of the '60s/'70s British prog/fusion scene known as the Canterbury school.
