About this Artist
Screaming TreesScreaming Trees was one of the marquee bands of the 1990s grunge movement. The band began its career playing a potent mix of 1960s classic rock and psychedelia infused with the urgency and power of punk rock. They released three albums on the famed indie SST during the late '80s, but like many of their Seattle brethren, the Trees had jumped to the majors by the dawn of the new decade, releasing four albums of well-crafted, melodic hard rock in the proud tradition of the many staples of FM radio. The Trees disbanded in 2000, and lead singer Mark Lanegan went on to further his already established solo career. Definitive Albums
