Orchestral Manoeuvres In The DarkOne of the very first UK synth-pop groups, OMD set the mold for countless other new wave techno-poppers with their seminal early-'80s recordings. The group revolved around the duo of singers/multi-instrumentalists Andrew McCluskey and Paul Humphreys, who brought a keen melodic sense to their technological excursions.
