About this Artist
Negative ApproachNegative Approach are considered one of the most important bands of the original American hardcore punk movement of the early 1980s. Led by menacing shaved-headed frontman John Brannon, Negative Approach played blistering songs that rarely clocked in at over a minute. They were young, brash, and tough as nails, bottling a suburban-youth rage just beginning to take shape in America. The band burned out by 1984, and Brannon went on to form noise rock outfit the Laughing Hyenas, and later Easy Action. Brannon also took a re-formed and reconfigured Negative Approach line-up on the road in the early 2000s. Definitive Albums
