About this Artist

Mouse On Mars

As far as German bands that were actually influenced by the Krautrock sound of the late 1960s and '70s, Mouse on Mars are one of the most successful and influential children of that scene. Formed in the early '90s, the Dusseldorf-based twosome use dub, rock, jazz, and electronic music styles as a base to create experimental soundscapes and progressive dance tracks, the result is a style of music that is as baffling and high-concept as it is pleasurable.
