About this Artist

Men At Work

One of the most successful bands ever to come out of Australia, Men at Work were part of the mainstream "new wave" explosion that hit America in the early-'80s, and their catchy, humor-filled, Police-influenced sound exploded onto American radio, earning the band big hits and huge sales. Their fame was fleeting, as they virtually vanished after a couple of albums. Sting-like singer Colin Hay went solo, and eventually reformed the band, but never duplicated Men at Work's initial success.
