About this Artist

Bernard Herrmann

From the shrieking violins of PSYCHO to the grittiness of TAXI DRIVER, Bernard Herrmann's film scores are legendary. No one but Herrmann could have made Hitchcock's films even more eerie and ominous than they already were. While the quality of some of his material may vary, almost everything Herrmann composed from the mid 1940s through the late '60s is highly recommended.
